Programs & Curriculum

Where little hearts matter

EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Our curriculum strives to maximize creative education in a fun, activity-based and safe environment. Here are a few details about our creative education:

  • A child’s growth and development is viewed as a process, not an event. There are a range of activities and experiences designed to meet the needs of each child at their level of development along the growth continuum
  • There are a variety of learning center activities which include art, books, blocks, puzzles and manipulatives, nature, music, and dramatic play
  • Each unit helps the children to develop language, pre-reading, pre-writing, math skills, and other foundational skills appropriate for his/her stage of development
  • We provide an environment designed to meet age-appropriate needs of each child
  • Our planned activities in learning centers and group experiences are designed to facilitate your child’s total development
  • Our teachers are well-trained Christians who communicate care through love and individual attention

BALANCED LEARNING

Our curriculum fuels a rich and balanced learning progression. Here are a few details about our deep, balanced approach to education:

  • Your child’s spiritual, physical, mental, emotional and social development are equally important and interrelated
  • Our programs provide choices, inspire creative expression, allow physical activity, encourage group interaction and conversation, provide a stimulating and fun learning environment, create a flexible and familiar routine and are Biblically founded

SPIRITUAL FRAMEWORK

Our curriculum additionally focuses on encouraging faith-based Biblical values and attitudes. Here are a few details about our faithfully delivered education:

  • Biblical events and verses are intertwined throughout the teaching units
  • We use the WEE Learn Curriculum, published by LifeWay resources; this curriculum provides a framework that allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did—”in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52)

SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT

Our curriculum includes intentional activities to bolster your child’s ability to experience many different social interactions with other children. Here are a few details about our social education:

  • Your child will develop social skills through sharing, taking turns, thinking, reasoning, and problem solving
